Three things young India is on about this week. Marathi and Telugu couples are roasting each other for the camera, college kids are filming every small milestone like it is a premiere, and GTA 5 streams that started weeks ago still have not ended. A quieter week, so a shorter list.
1. Regional Comedy Szn
The couple sketch is having a moment. In Maharashtra it is “रडू बाई रडू” (roughly, “go on, cry”), a husband and wife reel tagged for Bappa and Agri-Koli comedy, and another Marathi reel where someone insists “रजनीकांत मामा आहे माझा”, Rajinikanth is my mama. Over in Telugu, a wife makes it very clear the fight was “not about the sarees… about the dal”, and the Telugu Trolls compilations keep stacking up. Bangla natok has a sequel too: Prank King’s “কোটিপতির মেয়ে বস্তিতে ২”, the millionaire’s daughter in the slum, part two. Same joke engine as always: family, money, marriage, in the language you actually fight in. We told the full story of this one, tee included: read Regional Comedy Szn.

2. Campus Core
College life is still the biggest genre, and this week it is about the small big days. A Kolkata student posted “Presentation day!!” like it was a release date. A Delhi medical student did a get ready with me for their white coat ceremony, on a train, because when else is there time. In Chennai, a Sri Sai Ram Engineering College student’s youth talk speech is going round, alongside a college youth safety programme on online abuse and human trafficking. Not everything on campus is a meme, and the feed knows it.

Our campus tee is the one about what actually gets you through the semester: Adda is Therapy.

3. GTA 6 Waiting Room
The waiting room is still playing GTA 5. The same live streams have been running for over two weeks now and nobody has turned them off. Around them, the rest of Indian gaming YouTube is doing its own thing: a horror game where the job is babysitting a very wrong baby (“can I stop this horror baby”), and Techno Gamerz clips of Ujjwal getting shocked, which is its own genre at this point.
Also playing
A new Haryanvi track, “Insta Pe Tharki” by Ajay Hooda and Vijay Varma, has its official video out. And up north, the 2026 South comedy “Partner” with Aadhi Pinisetty and Hansika Motwani is doing the rounds in its Hindi dub.
